AMBIENT MAGAZINE
Cierra designed a magazine from the ground up for this project. Throughout the process, she developed a grid, selected a suite of typefaces, designed sample spreads, and created a cover along with a typographic logo. She also designed a small digital version of the magazine. Readers can scan pages using "Artivive" to view animated pages in augmented reality.
Designing this magazine allowed Cierra to explore her love for long-exposure photography. She created mood boards, sketches, and gathered inspiration from various sources. Originally intended for the web, she ensured that the physical copy retained digital interactivity, allowing it to be viewed on a device. The magazine features her own photography as well as work from artists she admires.
